Patient transport service (PTS)

There are many occasions on which a person may need to travel, for non-emergency reasons, in a specially-equipped vehicle.

For example, an elderly, non-self-sufficient person who has a doctor’s appointment for an assessment of his infirmity. Or a discharged patient with a spine injury who has to return to hospital for CAT-scan check-up.

Neither of them could travel in a private car.
