Tignale Soccorso is a group of volunteers which provides services to the local community.
We work in the public-health and civil defence sectors.
Our group was formally set up in 1992, although a few pioneers started out in 1989 as a
separate branch of Volontari del Garda.
Today, Tignale Soccorso has about 40 members. Lifesaving techniques, protocols and
legislation have gradually changed over the years, we’ve covered a lot of ground and much
of it was uphill. But some things never change, like that warm feeling of satisfaction
when someone gives you a grateful smile to thank you for your help!
